IronClad ID Wallet Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026 · Product of CLINIFORGE

This Privacy Policy explains how IronClad ID Wallet (“we,” “us,” or “the App”) handles information when you use the iOS application. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

IronClad ID Wallet does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your document vault with us. There are no IronClad accounts, no cloud sync operated by us, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party analytics SDKs that receive your document contents. Data you enter stays on your device unless you choose to export a backup or share content using the iOS share sheet.

2. Data we collect

None for our own servers. We do not operate backends that receive app content or usage telemetry about your vault.

We do not collect names or email addresses for an IronClad account; document images, card numbers, passport details, or notes; advertising identifiers or tracking pixels; crash logs or diagnostics sent to us as a custom pipeline; or location data for the vault.

If you enable Apple’s “Share with App Developers” (a system setting), Apple may collect crash and performance diagnostics about the App and show aggregate reports to us in App Store Connect / Xcode. That data is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy terms. The App does not upload vault contents for that purpose.

3. Data stored on your device

Content you add (document fields, photos, notes, tags, barcodes, settings) is stored locally using Apple frameworks (including SwiftData). Access can be protected by a PIN and, if you enable it, Face ID / Touch ID.

On-device storage uses iOS Data Protection (NSFileProtectionComplete). Field and image data may additionally be sealed with keys held in the iOS Keychain when your device passcode allows. Biometric templates stay in Apple’s Secure Enclave and are not readable by the App.

4. Permissions

Camera — only to scan or capture documents you choose. Images are not uploaded to us.

Photo Library / Photos picker — only to import document images you choose.

Face ID / Touch ID — only for local unlock. Biometric data is not stored by the App.

Notifications — local expiry reminders only. No remote push from our servers.

5. Backups and sharing

If you create a backup, the file is written to a folder you select in the iOS Files app (for example iCloud Drive or On My iPhone). Encrypted backups use AES-256-GCM with a password you set. We never receive these files unless you email them to us for support.

If you use Share, content leaves the device only through Apple’s share sheet to destinations you choose. That is under your control and those services’ privacy policies.

6. Children

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because we do not operate a data-collection backend for the vault, there is no children’s vault data for us to process.

7. Third parties

IronClad ID Wallet does not embed third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs. The App uses Apple system frameworks (for example Vision, LocalAuthentication, CryptoKit, StoreKit, UserNotifications).

App Store purchases are processed by Apple. Optional use of iCloud Drive as a backup destination you select is under Apple’s iCloud terms.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected in the App Store listing where appropriate.
